Unipol “Biografilm collection”: Gianandrea Barreca introduces “Renzo Piano, the architect of light”
On Wednesday 27 February at 9 pm, at the Cinema Colosseo in Milan, Unipol and AIM will organize the screening of the documentary by Carlos Saura on the Centro Botín de Santander in Spain (invitation event)
The screening will be introduced by Alberto Federici, Corporate Communication Director of the Unipol Group, and Gianandrea Barreca.
“Renzo Piano, the architect of light” follows the work, until the inauguration in 2017, of the Botìn Cultural Center in Santander (Cantabria, Spain), whose design was entrusted to the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in 2010 in order to create a building that redesigns the profile of the city and places itself in an active and emotional dialogue with the citizens.
The documentary, alternating images of construction sites, renderings, reportages and an interview with the famous architect, offers food for thought on the creative process that unites cinema and architecture: light, poetry, utopia, the architect and director are the same elements , the same impulses.
