Snam HQ

The design proposal for Snam’s new headquarters in Milan, located in the Symbiosis area on Via Vezza D’Oglio, envisions a sober and compact yet highly articulated building.

With a kind of introverted density, it defines an artificial landscape at ground level, upon which the layout of offices, laboratories, and meeting spaces unfolds. The building occupies the entire available lot and carves out within it a central courtyard—part plaza, part garden—that becomes the most accessible, hidden, and surprising space of the entire complex. This interplay of diverse landscapes symbolizes the transition from hydrocarbons to the sustainable energies of the future.

Inside, flexibility and ease of use govern the design—spaces where work, interaction, exchange, and meetings are naturally encouraged.
