Offices at Via Pantin 1

Elegance and Tradition: a façade that reinterprets the rhythms of Renaissance architecture refreshes a building from the 1970s.

The building subject to intervention, previously used as offices, consists of a single structure-oriented Northeast/Southwest and develops over 5 levels. On the ground floor, there is an operating bank branch that is accessible directly from the outside.

The project involves the renovation of the existing building, intended to host the offices of a single tenant, through a general strip-out, numerous structural reinforcements, regulatory adjustments, a new façade fit-out, and a new layout. The façade design, in particular, is inspired by the modularity and language of Tuscan Renaissance architecture, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

The project emphasizes the existing horizontal tripartition in the building, distinguishing the different parts using materials and surfaces without altering the characteristics of each section. The choice of a limited number of colors and materials, along with an emphasis on the rhythmic alternation of shadows, guided the architectural language decisions. The building is designed according to cutting-edge construction and environmental sustainability criteria, aiming for the prestigious LEED – Building Design & Construction for Core & Shell certification at the PLATINUM level.
