“Identity and crisis of European architecture”: Giovanni La Varra speaks at the Corrente Foundation in Milan

As part of the Foundation’s annual program entitled “Current and Europe” aimed at examining the history of cultural exchanges between Milan and Europe in the 20th century, the “DE-LIMITE” series of conferences reflects, starting from the photographs taken by photographers contemporary exhibits in the exhibition “Erigere. Walls, barriers, barbed wire “by Roberto Mutti set up in the spaces of the Corrente Foundation (from 18/4 to 11/7) on the idea of borders, physical and metaphorical, cultural and economic, to think about European identity today . Two meetings by Jacopo Muzio will explore the theme of limits and boundaries from an architectural, socio-economic and urban planning point of view.
Thursday 9 May, 6 pm – Identity and crisis of European architecture: introduces and moderates Marco Biraghi, with the participation of Mauro Galantino, Giovanni La Varra, Laura Montedoro.
Thursday, May 23, 6 pm – Urban and living forms in the transformations of the European city: coordinated and moderated Lorenzo Degli Esposti, with the participation of Giuseppe Marinoni, Matteo Vegetti, Tiziana Villani.
