Barreca & La Varra shortlisted for three sites of Reinventing Cities Milan 2020

The projects “L’Amber Playful Yards” for Scalo Lambrate and “ARIA” for Ex-Macello and Palazzine Liberty pass to the second phase of the international competition organized by the City of Milan together with C40.

“The quality of the judging commissions and teams selected is up to the great challenge they are called upon to meet: to identify projects capable of regenerating key places in the city, sewing up urban voids with quality projects – declares Councillor for Urban Planning Pierfrancesco Maran -. From Loreto to Lambrate, a large part of Milan’s urban development over the next few years will necessarily be under the banner of sustainability and social equity for the redesign of these sites. We remind you that the first criterion for which the projects have been selected is the ability to identify resilient and environmentally friendly solutions”. The finalist teams will now have to work out the detailed proposal including the economic offer. The winners will be identified in the first quarter of next year.
